Motorcyclist killed in crash last month named by police

A CHICHESTER motorcyclist who died after a crash in last month has been named by Sussex Police.

Police said 60-year-old Allan Young was pronounced dead at the scene after a collision on the A29 Fairmile Bottom, Arundel.

This crash involved a Suzuki motorcycle and a Ford Tipper van, both travelling north on Tuesday August 11.

A renewed appeal for information has now been launched.

A spokesman said: ‘Officers investigating the collision would still like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision but has yet to come forward.

‘In particular, they would like to hear from people who may have captured the collision or the events leading up to it on their dash cam.’
