Motorcyclist is seriously injured after accident on M27 slip road

It happened on the sliproad leading to the westbound side of the motorway at junction 7, at Hedge End.

There were no other vehicles involved, according to police, and the accident happened at 10.10am today.

A spokeswoman said: ‘The slip road was closed as a result. A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
