‘These searches are part of our investigations into the murder of Kayleigh Dunning. These searches are likely to continue until March 29.’

Residents in the area were in the dark about why the tent appeared on Monday.

Shaun Cockram, who owns the Kwiki-Mart shop near where the search tent has been set up, said: 'There was a notice put up last week saying the police were going to be cordoning the area off for a search. They have said it could take up to two weeks to carry out. There has been a lot of rumour as to what the search is about but no one really knows.'
