Murder squad detectives seek tattooed man

A man with a distinctive tattoo is being sought by Hampshire murder squad detectives.

Police have investigating a fatal stabbing have reissued an appeal for information about Kevin Suika.

The 23-year-old, who is 5ft 7in tall, has a tattoo on his left arm reading: ‘Work like a slave, eat like a king.’

They want to talk to him about the death of Michael Freshwater, 49, whose body was found at a property in Portswood, Southampton, on April 29.

Detective Superintendent Becky Riggs said: ‘I would appeal Suika to hand himself in at a local police station or make contact with us as soon as possible to assist us with this investigation.

‘This remains an active murder investigation and we won’t stop until we get justice for Michael and his family.

‘Anyone we find to have been harbouring or assisting Suika to avoid arrest should be aware they are committing an offence themselves and may find themselves liable to arrest or a term of imprisonment.

‘I want to appeal directly to the public and ask, if you know where Suika is, please contact Hampshire Constabulary in confidence on 101 quoting Operation Windless.’
