Police appeal after woman seriously injured after hit-and-run near Chichester

A WOMAN has been left with serious injuries following a hit-and-run near Chichester on Sunday night.

The woman, a motorcyclist in her 20s, was rushed to St Richard's Hospital with serious leg injuries.

A dark BMW collided with the motorcycle in Hunters Race at about 10pm last night but failed to stop, sparking an appeal for witnesses.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: ‘Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run in Lavant.’
