Police arrest man, 22, following air-rifle attack on three shoppers at Co-op store in Gosport
POLICE have arrested a man from Gosport after three people were shot by projectiles from an air rifle while out shopping.
Three people were struck by missiles outside the Co-op in Forton Road at around 9.20pm on Friday, February 5.
Officers have arrested a 22-year-old Gosport man on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm injuries while firing an air weapon outside the boundary of his premises.

The man has been released on bail and is required to report to police on Monday, April 5, according to a spokeswoman from Hampshire Constabulary.
It is an offence to carry an air weapon, whether loaded or not, in a public place without lawful authority or a reasonable excuse.
