POLICE waited patiently for a man outside court before arresting him for domestic assault – straight after his hearing for a previous domestic offence.

Portsmouth police revealed its pride in capturing the man outside magistrates’ court today.

The male was arrested for assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH).

The individual had just stepped out of court after appearing before magistrates for a previous domestic ABH.

Portsmouth Police posted on Twitter: ‘Waited outside Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court today.

‘We arrested a male for a domestic ABH, straight after his court hearing for a previous domestic assault!’
