Police find a body during search for missing Gosport woman

POLICE officers who were searching for a missing woman in Gosport have found a body.

Hampshire Constabulary previously reported that 35-year-old Laura Smith, from Gosport, had gone missing.

Formal identification procedures are ongoing, but Laura’s next of kin have been informed, say police.
