POLICE forced entry into a flat this afternoon after a call from a member of the public concerned about a woman ‘seen shouting out of a window’.

Officers entered the flat in London Road, Hilsea after getting no answer at the door.

A police spokeswoman said: ‘We were called just before 2pm today (July 20) to a concern for welfare after a member of the public saw a woman shouting out of a window.

‘Officers attended and got no answer at the address. Due to concerns over her safety, officers entered the address however it was empty.

‘Anyone with information is asked to phone 101 and quote 44200270397.’
