Police hunt man after Hampshire kidnap

Police are hunting a man after what they describe as a kidnap incident.

They have issued a picture of Rodney Traves, warning people not to approach him,

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: ‘Police are looking to trace Traves in connection with a kidnap incident that took place in Eastleigh on Thursday, January 19.

‘Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries to locate Traves and are now looking to the public for assistance.

‘Traves is 49-years-old and described as:

• White

• 5 feet 8 inches

• Proportionate build

• Brown hair

• Blue eyes

‘He has links to Southampton, Eastleigh and Bournemouth.

‘Officers would advise the public not to approach him, but to call Hampshire Constabulary on 101 or 999 appropriately and quote 44170024129.’
