Police hunting for missing Hampshire man, 29, discover body

Christian Rossiter, 29, was last seen between 12 and 2pm on Monday at his home in Lower Farringdon,

But Hampshire Constabulary has called off the search after discovering a male’s body in a wooded area in Farringdon.

A spokesman from the force said: ‘Formal identification has yet to take place, but Christian’s next of kin have been informed.

‘The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

‘We would like to thank everyone who has offered to help with the searches, and supported us in sharing our appeals.’
