Police 'increasingly concerned' for missing Havant teenager - and release new picture

POLICE admit they are ‘increasingly concerned’ for the welfare of a missing Havant teenager.

The authority has now released a new photo better matching the appearance of Louise Smith when she went missing at around midday on Friday, May 8, in Somborne Drive, Leigh Park.

Louise, 16, has not been in touch with family or friends since with Hampshire Constabulary following several lines of enquiry as they attempt to track the teenager down.

Detectives had traced the signal from her phone to a skate park in Havant.

But since detectives traced the signal, the phone has been turned off and there have been no sightings of the teenager.

Louise is white, about 5ft 2in and slim with straight, black, shoulder-length hair

She was last seen wearing black jeans, a black and white striped T-shirt, black trainers and a black coat with a fur hood.
