Police release e-fit after knife-point robbery in Southsea residential street

POLICE have released an image of a person they are looking to identify after a man was robbed at knife-point.

A man in his 20s was robbed while walking along Montgomerie Road at 7.15pm on Wednesday, November 18.

He was approached by a man carrying a knife, who threatened the victim and stole a bottle of wine, an ID card and cash.

The victim was not injured.

A spokesman from Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘The man has been described as black, aged in his late 30s, dark patches or scarring on his forehead, and unshaven.

‘He is also described as having a dog, possibly of Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed, with him at the time.’
