Police release e-fits of women after elderly man robbed of Rolex watch in Emsworth

The 78-year-old victim was approached by two women in High Street at about 12.30pm on Wednesday, July 15 who shoved him into an enclosed area before stealing the Rolex GMT Master II.

The women, thought to be in their 20s, are both about 5ft 4in, with olive complexions and dark hair.

One was described as having an average build and a Portuguese accent while the other female had slightly larger than average build.

The stolen watch has a black face, similar to the one shown in the picture.

But police said the bezel has been replaced with a black Rolex Submariner bezel with the small pearl setting at 12 o’clock to make it more distinctive - as shown in the second image.

Officers said there is also minor damage in three places on the inside of the watch bracelet.

A police statement said: ‘We want to identify the two women pictured as part of our enquiries, and are appealing to anyone who knows who they are or who may have seen them in the area.

‘In addition, we would ask anyone, including local businesses, who are offered sale of a watch matching the one stolen to report this to police.’
