Police search for missing man, 40, throughout the night in Staunton Country Park

A MISSING man has been found following a seven-hour search by police.

The 40-year-old male, who has not been named by the authorities, was reported missing from Havant shortly after 2am this morning.

Officers were scrambled to find the male, with a large police presence seen to be focusing their hunt around the Leigh Park Gardens area of the Staunton Country Park estate – where the man was later found.

A spokeswoman for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘We were called shortly after 2.10 this morning (Tuesday, March 16) to a report of a missing 40-year-old man from Havant.

‘Officers conducted enquiries through the night and the man was located in the Staunton Country Park area at 9.20am.’
