Police warning after car parked 'inconsiderately' near Gosport school

Police have issued a warning about ‘inconsiderate’ parking outside schools after a car was seized.

Hampshire Constabulary’s roads teams tweeted a photo of a car on Browndown Road in Gosport yesterday, near to Bay House School.

The team said the car was parked on the shared walkway and cycle path just as children were coming out of school.

A ticket was issued to the driver for obstruction and for having no insurance, and the car was seized.

A tweet said: ‘Parked inconsiderately on the shared walkway/cycle path at Browndown rd Gosport just as all the children were coming out of school. Tickets issued to the driver for obstruction and no insurance. Veh seized for safety S165. #JOUCVU’
