Portsmouth magistrates order man to pay £130 for attempting to import prohibited weapons

Michael Pateman, 27, of no fixed address, admitted being concerned in attempting to import prohibited weapons between November 16 in 2018 and May 16 in 2019.

Magistrates fined him £100 with a £30 victim surcharge.

He was detained in court.

Jenna Tooze, 35, of Winchfield Crescent, Bedhampton, admitted stealing dishwasher tablets worth £100 from Wilko on March 16.

Magistrates imposed a six-month conditional discharge with £21 surcharge and £40 costs.

Timothy Condon, 51, of Mayfield Close, Bognor Regis, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Marina Bar, Fort Cumberland Road, Eastney, on August 9.

He was fined £50 with a £34 victim surcharge.

He admitted breaching a conditional discharge for being drunk and disorderly. No action was taken on the breach.

Toni Etheridge, 51, of Fareham Park Road, Fareham, admitted drink-driving in Lea-Oak Gardens, on August 10.

A breath test revealed she had 67 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The limit is 35.

Etheridge was fined £120 with a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Magistrates banned her for 40 months.

Callum Ryan, 19, of Trinity Green, Gosport, admitted possession with intent to supply cannabis, a class B drug.

He had 15 one-gram bags of the drug in Gosport on November 15.

Magistrates imposed a 12-month community order with 15 days' rehabilitation activities.

He must pay a £90 victim surcharge.

An order was made to destroy the cannabis.

Shaun Seymour, 35, of Chilcombe Close, Havant, admitted resisting a police officer on September 22 in 2019 in Hayling Island.

Seymour must pay £150 compensation with £85 costs.

Gary Wilson, 39, of Hawkley Close, Leigh Park, admitted breaching a restraining order by texting and calling a woman on December 15 in 2019.

Magistrates imposed a 12-week jail term suspended for a year.

He must abide by a 12-month restraining order.

Wilson must pay a £122 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

No action was taken on a conditional discharge he breached.

William Harrocks, 30, of George Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to provoke fear of violence on November 6 in 2019.

He did this at the car ferry terminal in Gunwharf Road, Portsmouth.

Magistrates imposed a six-month community order with 10 days' rehabilitation activities.

He must pay £50 compensation and a £90 surcharge.
