Portsmouth men in court charged with Somers Town double stabbing

TWO men have appeared in court charged with a double stabbing in Somers Town.

Hampshire police said Kameron Karimi, 23, of Crasswell Street, Landport, and Sepan Qasim, 23, of Clarendon Road, Southsea, were charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

It comes after two men, 20 and 28, were stabbed in Margate Road, on Monday evening.

Police said the charges came after an investigation into the ‘serious incident’.

Karimi and Qasim appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court today and were remanded.

They are due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on March 1.

A Hampshire police spokeswoman said: ‘Officers will be in the area today carrying out ongoing enquiries. If you have any concerns please do speak to one of our officers.’
