Portsmouth men deny involvement in late-night Somers Town stabbing

TWO men have denied any involvement in an alleged stabbing in a Portsmouth street.

Both Sepan Qasim, 23, of Clarendon Road, Southsea, and Kameron Karimi, 23, of Crasswell Street, Landport, have denied wounding with intent.

They appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court today charged over an incident at 10.05pm on January 25 in Margate Road, Somers Town.

Police previously said two men, 20 and 28, had been stabbed.

Qasim and Karimi are accused of wounding with intent in relation to one man.

Judge Roger Hetherington adjourned the case for a trial on September 6.

He said: ‘The case will be adjourned for a trial which will take place on the 6th of September.’

Both men were remanded into custody.
