Portsmouth pays tribute to man in his 20s found dead in Old Portsmouth incident

TRIBUTES have been paid to a man who died in a five-hour police incident.

The man, in his 20s, died on Friday night in Museum Road, Old Portsmouth. Officers, paramedics and firefighters were in the area around Ravelin Park.

Officers called at around 4pm and firefighters said the incident ended at 9pm.

Since then people have paid tribute to the unnamed man on The News’ Facebook page.

The man has not yet been identified by police.

The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious, police said.
