Portsmouth police find drugs on teenager while checking Covid-19 rule breach in Portsea home

POLICE visited a Portsea home to discover two men breaking Covid-19 regulations and holding Class B drugs.

Officers were called out after reports of a group breaking lockdown restrictions in Curzon Howe Road at 5.30pm yesterday.

A spokesman from Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘We can confirm that officers were called out to an incident at 5.30pm yesterday evening following reports of a Covid-19 breach at an address on Curzon Howe Road.

‘Officers located a quantity of Class B drugs upon two individuals at the property.

‘A 17-year-old man was provided with a community resolution as a result, while a 20-year-old man was reported for summons for the same offence.’

Community resolution orders deal with minor offences or anti-social behaviour incidents, and do not form part of an individual’s criminal record.
