POLICE in Portsmouth have warned the community they will be out today.

Officers in the Charles Dickens ward gave potential law-breakers the heads-up as they look to keep the peace.

During patrols, police said on Twitter they will be focusing on safeguarding visits for victims of domestic violence, arrest attempts for a subject breaching their court bail conditions and visits to resolve neighbour disputes.
