Officers doing their rounds in Charles Dickens have covered a variety of tasks during their shift.
A social media post by Portsmouth Police, alongside a picture of a policeman playing football with a boy, showed there was fun to be had as well while ‘engaging with the community’.

Hide AdThe post said: ‘Charles Dickens are on duty this evening and covering a mixture of urgent incidents, crime enquiries and safeguarding checks.
‘Doing a mix of vehicle patrol and foot patrol, the team will use any opportunity to engage with the community.’
