Portsmouth police raid Stamshaw house in drug dealing investigation

POLICE have carried out a drugs raid on a house in Portsmouth.

The raid on the property took place on September 7 in Stamshaw after officers were granted a warrant to search for drugs.

A statement from Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘Officers have conducted a warrant at an address on Gruneisen Road, Portsmouth, in relation to an ongoing investigation into drugs supply. No arrests were made.’

The raid was part of concerted campaign to tackle drug related crime in the city.

In June this year officers carried out planned searches at Meadowsweet Way in Wymering and Spenlow Close in Buckland where they seized £30,000 of cash along with a number of stolen items.
