Portsmouth shoplifter who targeted Co-op stores 11 times for £1,100 worth of goods is jailed

Collins, 48, of St Michael's Road, Southsea, admitted a spree of 11 shoplifting offences.

He stole £1,113 worth of goods from Co-op stores in Portsmouth between February and April this year.

He took cleaning products, meat, cheese and sweets.

Portsmouth magistrates imposed a jail term due to his spree and previous convictions.

At Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Saturday he was told he must pay a £156 victim surcharge.
