Portsmouth stabbing accused pair remanded ahead of Portsmouth Crown Court appearance

TWO people have appeared in court charged with a serious assault after a man was stabbed.

Tammy Hunt, 43, of Tunstall Road, Wymering, and Lee Benneyworth, 38, of Leominster Road, Paulsgrove, appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on Monday.

It comes after a man was stabbed in the face, leg and head in Tunstall Road on Saturday at around 8.20am.

Both Hunt and Benneyworth have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

They were remanded into custody ahead of appearing at Portsmouth Crown Court on May 10. No pleas were entered.
