Portsmouth woman admits Christmas Day assault - one of 6 people in court on Boxing Day

A WOMAN has admitted assaulting a man and damaging a front door on Christmas Day.

Laura Biles, 32, was hauled before Portsmouth magistrates on Boxing Day after carrying out a string of offences.

Biles, of Kingston Crescent, North End, admitted assault by beating, damaging a front door and breaching a non-molestation order.

She was bailed until February 12 when she will be sentenced at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

Biles was one of six people who appeared in court on Boxing Day.

Among them was Michael Kelly, 46, of Fawcett Road, Southsea, who admitted burglary.

He struck at Rowlands Pharmacy on Christmas Eve, stealing around £150 to £300 worth of prescription medication.

He will be sentenced on January 29.
