Probe continues into toddler's fall from Somers Town five-storey block
DETECTIVES are still investigating a toddler’s fall from a five-storey block.
Hampshire police confirmed an investigation into the two-year-old girl’s fall from Mulberry House, Bedford Street, in Somers Town on May 28, is ongoing.
She fell around 40ft onto the ground below.
As reported, officers arrested a 29-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, both from Portsmouth, on suspicion of child neglect.
A police spokesman said: ‘The two arrested have been released under investigation and enquiries are ongoing with that one.’
In June police said the girl, who suffered life-threatening injuries, was serious but stable at Southampton General Hospital.
Police pored over the area on the day of the fall, with officers in forensics suits combing the area for clues.
Officers shut the road while investigations went on.
