Public order offence

MAGISTRATES have fined a man for a public order offence.

Steven Conlon, 29, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress. He pleaded guilty to the offence at Havant train station on May 15.

Portsmouth magistrates fined him £80 with a £30 victim surcharge.

Conlon also admitted failing to surrender to custody on May 31 and was fined £80.
