Richard Morris missing: Police seek to identify man as part of search for missing Hampshire man

OFFICERS investigating the disappearance of diplomat Richard Morris have released footage of a man they wish to identify.

The video is from a a dash-cam and shows a man running on London Road at the junction with Lower Neatham Mill Lane, Alton, at approximately 12.30pm on Wednesday, May 6.

He was running in the direction of Alton to Binstead.

A spokeswoman for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘We appreciate the image is not very clear, however there the footage is available to view on the East Hants Police Facebook page.

‘It has now been over two months since Richard Morris, 52, went missing from Bentley on May 6 and we continue to appeal for any information that may assist our investigation.

‘The last confirmed sighting of Richard is at 10.50am on May 6 on Isington Road in Alton.

‘He is described as white, with greying hair and a beard. He also has a distinctive birth mark on his face.

‘He was last seen wearing a blue, long-sleeved top with a zip, black shorts and blue trainers.’
