Search for Portsmouth man serving time for GBH who has absconded from prison

A MAN, serving a sentence for grievous bodily harm, has absconded from prison.

Ashley Green from Portsmouth has absconded from HM Prison Springhill in Buckinghamshire.

Thames Valley Police is appealing to the public to help find Ashley Green from Portsmouth who absconded from HM Prison Springhill in Buckinghamshire.

The 33-year-old left the grounds of the prison between midnight and 1am on Sunday (May 17).

He is believed to have connections in Bromley, Kent.

Detective Constable Bruce Wilson, based at Aylesbury police station, said: ‘I am appealing to anybody who knows of Green’s whereabouts to please get in touch with police.

‘If you see him, please do not approach him, but call 999 immediately.

‘If you know of his whereabouts, but he is no longer in the area, please report this via 101, quoting reference number 43200144889.’
