Shoplifter fined £40 for theft
A BAGUETTE thief has been fined £40.
Ashleigh Long, 32, care of York Crescent, Lee-on-the-Solent, admitted taking a baguette and Belgian buns worth £3.95 from Co-op in Southsea.
She stole the items on July 22.
Magistrates ordered her to pay a £30 victim surcharge.
She was ordered to be detained at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court but this was deemed served due to time spent in custody.
