Southsea shop thief, 42, jailed after police investigation

A SOUTHSEA shop thief has been jailed for 17 weeks for numerous offences.

Deborah Holmes, 42, of Somers Road, was locked up on Wednesday for shoplifting spanning from December 2020 to March 2121.

Holmes was brought to justice following the police’s investigation, known as Operation Monster, where officers work with businesses to tackle aggravated shoplifting and other offences against them.
