Southsea street cordoned off as police investigate assault
A MAN was taken to hospital following reports of an assault in Southsea.

Police attended the scene of the incident and cordoned off Bradford Road while a forensic team conducted investigations.
A police spokesman said: ‘We were called just after 3pm today to Bradford Road, Southsea, after reports of an assault. A man has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.’
Local resident, Pam, aged 80, said: ‘I came outside after seeing all the blue lights. There were several police cars and an ambulance. A police woman told me they were investigating an assault.’
