Suspected burglar, 27, arrested over assaulting people in Portsmouth street and causing racial 'distress'

Officers swooped to Battenburg Avenue, Portsmouth, at 2.37pm yesterday to the suspected burglary before receiving reports of a man assaulting people in the same street.
After attending the incidents, police arrested a 27-year-old man from Portsmouth on suspicion of burglary, causing racially or religiously aggravated harassment/alarm/distress and two offences of common assault.
