The boy, 15, pleaded guilty to robbery in connection with the two incidents on October 17.

He has been remanded in secure accommodation until sentencing, police have said.

The robberies happened in Bramshott Road and Frensham Road in Southsea on October 17. 

Portsmouth police tweeted: '˜A 15-year-old boy from #Southsea is remanded in secure accommodation after pleading guilty to robbery and possess a knife blade in connection with two robberies in Southsea on 17/10.

'˜He'll be sentenced on 23/11. #ProtectingCommunities.'
