Teenager grabbed by wrist by stranger in scary suspicious incident at Canoe Lake

Police have launched an appeal for information following a suspicious incident at Canoe Lake on August 17.

It was reported that a 19 year-old woman was at the lake when she was approached by a man who spoke to her briefly, and grabbed her wrist before a second man intervened.

The woman was not seriously injured during the incident and both men left the area a short time later in the direction of Albert Road.

The man has been described as black, bald, of large build, aged between 30 and 40-years-old. He was wearing a long military, cargo style coat and shorts.
