Three teenagers arrested after mallet, knife and baton found in Gosport road

THREE teenagers have been arrested by police after weapons were found in a street.

On the evening of Friday, November 13, a trio of boys from Gosport, aged 13, 16 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.

It came after a mallet, a knife and a baton were all found in Privett Road.

Posting on social media, Gosport Police said: ‘The 16-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of supplying Class B drugs.

‘The 18-year-old received a caution, while the other two males have both been released under investigation.

‘Thanks to the hard work of our officers, three more dangerous weapons are off the streets.’
