Trio arrested in Leigh Park drugs raid which saw £100,000 cash seized are bailed

THREE people arrested in a drugs raid that saw police seize £100,000 cash have been released on bail.

It comes as Hampshire police raided High Lawn Way, in Leigh Park, yesterday.

Officers said a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of having a class A drug with intent to supply, having a class B drug and acquiring, using or possessing criminal property – relating to the cash.

Two women, 41 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug, being concerned in the supply of a class B drug, and acquiring, using or possessing criminal property.

All three have now been released on bail until April 6.

People living in the area told The News they were 'happy’ police had taken action.
