Two men left with injuries after being set upon by gang in Fratton

The incident happened in Burleigh Road, Fratton, on Monday at around 8.30pm – resulting in police being called.

No arrests have yet been made but police are appealing for information from the public.

‘We were called to reports that a group of young people had caused a cut wound to a man’s arm,’ a police spokeswoman said.

‘A second man received minor injuries to his shin and face.

‘We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen or heard anything.’
