Two Portsmouth men due in crown court after man found with 'multiple stab wounds'

TWO men have appeared in court after a man was found with multiple stab wounds and injuries to his face.

The 33-year-old was found at around 10.20am in Cardiff Road, North End, after police were told someone was injured leaving a property in Northern Parade, in Hilsea, on Sunday.

The man was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment but has since been discharged and is recovering, police said.

Glen Boswarthack, 35, of Northern Parade in Hilsea and Ronald Walter Wall, aged 40, of Lords Street in Landport, have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

They appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and are next to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on November 16.

They were remanded.
