WATCH: Boat full of migrants arrives in Portsmouth as tensions flare
Tensions erupted after migrants arrived
A video has captured a boat full of migrants arriving in Portsmouth on Sunday evening.
Around 140 migrants turned up in a dingy off Eastney beach as around 500 protesters descended to the area to block them.
The Home Office has this morning condemned the “intimidating and thuggish behaviour” of protesters and said “all of those brought ashore have left the landing site and are being transported for processing in the usual way”.
