WATCH: Dramatic footage shows man ram police car twice during high speed pursuit
Shady Coates, 36, of Swanton Road appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Monday (September 10) for sentencing following the chase which happened earlier this year on February 1.Â
The high speed pursuit started when police received reports of two burglaries in the Binham and Warham area of North Norfolk.

Hide AdA witness then spotted a vehicle linked to the crime and phoned police. It was then spotted approaching Fakenham and officers were deployed to the area.
They caught up with the vehicle and followed it into Morrisons where two passengers fled the vehicle. It then reversed into the police car before driving away from the scene.
The 20 minute pursuit was abandoned as the vehicle entered the grounds of Taverham Hall School.
The car was found crashed on Marriotts Way with several stolen items found nearby which had been thrown over a hedge.

Hide AdCoates was later identified by police officers and arrested on April 24.
He was charged with burglary, dangerous driving, disqualified driving, no insurance and failing to stop and was remanded into custody.
Yesterday at court he was sentenced for dangerous driving, no insurance, disqualified driving and imprisoned for 16 months and given a 40 month driving ban.
All of the stolen property (except one rucksack) was recovered and returned to their owners.
