Waterlooville man charged following late night M27 police chase

A 45-YEAR-OLD man has been charged in connection with dangerous driving after a car was involved in a dramatic late night police chase.

A silver Nissan Micra being tracked by police failed to stop and decided to go the wrong way down the M27 between junctions 12 and 11 around 11.30pm on Tuesday night.

Police got in front of cars travelling the right way to stop the Micra crashing into them. Officers were also dispatched to ‘strategic points’ to keep track of the driver.
