A statement from Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘We were called at 5.41pm on 26 November with reports of a collision on Military Road, Gosport, involving a Volvo, a Ford Transit Van and a Volkswagen Passat.

‘The Volvo driver, a woman in her 80s, was taken to hospital as a precaution.’
