Work vans broken into by three men outside Mountbatten Centre in Portsmouth

Police officers in the city have launched an appeal after a number of vans outside the Mountbatten Centre in Alex Way, Hilsea, were broken into earlier this week.

The suspects were in a black Mercedes Vito van, police say.

Hide AdPosting on social media, @PompeyPolice tweeted: ‘On January 14, 9.30am at the Mountbatten Centre Portsmouth there was a number of works vans broken in to.
‘Three males wearing hi-vis jackets and white hard hats.’
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 101, quoting the crime reference number 44200016157.
