Best photos as Royal Navy carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth sails into Portsmouth

HMS Queen Elizabeth has returned home to Portsmouth after nearly 10 weeks at sea.

The 65,000 tonne warship completed trials with the Britain’s new stealth jets as well as undergoing a variety of tests ahead of her first operational mission next year.

She will remain alongside at Portsmouth Naval Base for the next few weeks ahead before resuming carrier strike training later this year.
