‘It just shows that no matter what your age or what you look like, that anyone can actually be a role model. It’s nice that people can look at you, especially at my age, and think “wow, I can do that”.’

‘I am blessed to be afforded this opportunity and I hope to be able to fulfil the role that I have been given and make the Diamond family proud.’

As a Leading Writer, Lex’s HR role has seen her travelling around the Mediterranean and she said work has been accommodating in giving her time for this venture.

Lex said: ‘I really enjoy it and I can’t believe it’s been 12 years. It’s an amazing career and the support in the military is amazing.
