CROWDS gathered to wave HMS Queen Elizabeth off as she departed Portsmouth once again.

The Royal Navy aircraft carrier left the naval base on Monday after days of delays and will continue the latest round of training with F-35 fighter jets.

Queen Elizabeth had been due to sail last week but that was postponed several times.

Hundreds of people socially distanced as they lined the shore in Old Portsmouth to give the carrier a proper send off on Monday afternoon.
