He is completing the challenge this month for the charity Teenage Cancer Trust.

Adam said: ‘Lockdown prevented me doing the fundraiser that I had got planned, but I saw this challenge on Facebook and thought I could help the charity during these difficult times whilst also keeping safe and remote learning.

‘The challenge will see me complete 3,000 press ups, which will see me push a total of 300,000kg.

‘Children are the future and deserve a fighting chance to get there.

'I have the ability to help others by doing this challenge and as hard as some days have been, it doesn’t even come close to what these kids go through, they are the ones who deserve the credit.’
